For more than 35 years, Bill Blumenreich has been a driving force in live entertainment on the East Coast and beyond.
In 1989, Bill opened the Comedy Connection in Boston, eventually expanding throughout New England and helping build a home for both rising comics and some of the biggest names in stand-up. In 2008, Bill decided to take a leap with Boston’s historic Wilbur Theatre — and the rest is history. Since then, Bill has transformed The Wilbur into one of the country’s premier destinations for live entertainment and the setting for nearly 40 comedy special tapings — a world record.
As the business has grown, Bill Blumenreich Presents has expanded beyond comedy into music, podcasts, lectures, speakers, live shows, and special events, bringing that same promoter-driven approach to venues throughout New England and beyond.
Today, BBP operates The Wilbur and Chevalier Theatre full-time and produces hundreds of events each year across the country. BBP is always looking for what’s next and, most importantly, what people want to see live.
